Headed for Alaska

The SPLASH Steamboat is beginning a new chapter.

On Sept. 3, shipmates, teachers, board members and staff gathered at the steamboat in Lambertville, N.J., for one last walk-through and visit beforehe boat was made ready for her next journey to Alaska, where
she will continue to delight children at summer camps.
 
Afterward, guests adjourned to the River’s Edge, located beneath the Inn at Lambertville Station, for refreshments, live music and conversation.
 
The steamboat provided school-age and adult groups with fun educational sails on the Delaware River from 2004 to 2019.
