Head-on collision closes Route 202 Parkway between County Line Road and Route 152

Warrington Township police are investigating a serious motor vehicle crash on the Route 202 Parkway between County Line Road and Route 152.

The head-on crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. today, at a curve in the roadway. One vehicle ended up on the walking path. Each vehicle had one occupant and reports from medical personnel of moderate to severe injuries.

Both drivers were transported to Abington Trauma Center by Chalfont and Warrington Ambulance. Warrington Fire Company is on location assisting.

Route 202 Parkway (including the walking trail) will be closed in both direction for an extended period while police investigate the crash scene. Motorist are asked to avoid this area as police are working to get motorists stuck in the traffic turned around.
