Guitar Duo will perform with Hunterdon Symphony

The Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo will perform a live and in-person concert with members of the Hunterdon Symphony at Rosemont Valley Farm in Stockton, N.J., at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4.

The program will include Handel’s “Concerto in B-Flat Major” and “Cavatina” by Stanley Myers, from the Deerhunter under the direction of conductor Lawrence Kursay. The duo will also perform “Música Incidental Campesina,” by Cuban composer Leo Brouwer and Lennon/McCartney’s “Beatlerianas - The Fool on the Hill,” arranged by Brouwer.

The concert also will include additional selections for small ensembles. Admission is $20 per vehicle and can be paid at the gate. Audience members may choose to remain in their vehicles and listen to the performance streamed on a FM radio band or use their own chairs and blankets to sit outside, observing social distancing. Masks are required at all times.

The farm is located at 700 Rosemont-Ringoes Road. Gates will open at 2 p.m. and close 15 minutes prior to the start of the concert. The rain date is Oct. 25.
