Go “Forest Bathing” on grounds of Bucks County Audubon

Posted

A “Forest Bathing” guided walk with registered nurse Sharon Lohse, a forest guide trained at the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs, takes place 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15 on the grounds of the Bucks County Audubon Society, 2877 Creamery Road, Solebury.

Forest therapy is a gentle practice that involves moving very slowly and mindfully through nature, soaking it in with all of our senses. It is a relaxing experience that connects people to natural environments through sensory-based invitations.

An entire walk is typically two to two and a half hours in duration and often covers no more than a quarter-mile distance.

Participants will do a series of relaxing activities to engage senses, deepen nature connection, hone intuition, and connect with the natural world.

The cost is $30 per person.
