Glen Foerd slates Teen Arts Fest

Posted

Glen Foerd, Philadelphia’s public park and nonprofit cultural site along the Delaware River near Bucks County, hosts a Teen Arts Fest from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11.

Philadelphia teens, ages 13 to 18, are invited for a free evening of crafts, games, and food.

Kristina Murray, Glen Foerd’s arts and culture program manager, will lead a yarn art and floral crown workshop, and dinner and ice cream will be provided along with plenty of games throughout the evening.

The event will be held on the grounds and in the Main House, where attendees can explore the German rathskeller in the basement and view the art collection throughout the building.

The event, at 5001 Grant Ave., Philadelphia, is free, but registration is required at glenfoerd.org/events/2022/8/11/teen-arts-fest.
