Garden-lovers can visit Morris Arboretum for less in February

Posted

Morris Arboretum & Gardens in Chestnut Hill is offering discounted admission during the month of February.

Through Feb. 29, adult nonmembers pay $12, rather than $20; children under the age of 17 pay $6, rather than $10; and senior citizens pay $11, instead of $18.

Guests can explore on their own or take part in one or more special tours and events in February.

These include weekend wellness walks, weekend garden highlights tours and a “Bare Naked Trees Tour” at 11 a.m. Feb. 24, during which a guide will share insights gleaned from study of trees once their leaves have fallen.

Looking ahead, the center will host a “Witchhazels Tour” on March 11.

The arboretum is located at 100 E. Northwestern Ave. in Philadelphia.
