Gallery 14 presents a double member exhibit in which each artist takes a special look at memories.
The exhibit features the work of Martin Schwartz and Joel Blum and runs from April 15 until May 7. Visitors can meet the artists from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at the gallery, 14 Mercer St., Hopewell, N.J. The gallery is open on weekends, from noon to 5 p.m.
In “Some Old Some New,” Schwartz has given some of his older photos a new life and look, with modern enhancements, and he exhibits newer photos which he processed using new treatments. Since no two photos have been given the same treatment purposely, the images demonstrate the capabilities of digital software.
In “Italian Light,” Blum allows viewers to join him as he remembers his journey from Milan to Venice, Italy. This show is a photographic memoir of his trip across northern Italy.
