Sale items will include all genres of gently-used books, including newer fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books, in hardback and paperback, all for $2 each (cash, check, or Venmo only).

“This is a popular annual event, and our biggest fundraiser,” explained Friends President Steve Schreiner. “We look forward to hosting the sale again, and have thousands of great books to sell.”

Proceeds of the Friends book sales support Doylestown Library programs, equipment and materials, such as the Summer Quest and Reading to the Dogs children’s programs, the popular chair yoga program, and the monthly Book Page distributed free at the library.

“We’re excited to be able to host the book sale again, and appreciate the library providing us the space we need,” said Liz McCarthy, chairperson of the Friends Book Sale Committee. “We’re also grateful for the book donations we receive throughout the year, without which our sale would not be possible.”

The Friends of the Doylestown Library is a nonprofit organization supporting the Doylestown Library.
