Friends of Doylestown Library host programs on animals and antiques

Local radio host and author Mike Ivankovich will present a program called “Your Children Don’t Want It. What Do You Want To Do with It?” from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 14.

The antiques expert will discuss the changing market for family heirlooms, and strategies for clearing out unwanted items. This is a Friends fundraising event; admission is $5 per person, payable at the door, pre-registration is required by emailing: FriendsofDoylestownLibrary@gmail.com

The Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Chalfont will conduct a free program, from 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 18, highlighting its work helping injured wild animals, while introducing the audience to some of the creatures it has saved. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and pre-registration is required by emailing: FriendsofDoylestownLibrary@gmail.com.

All programs will be held in the Pearl Buck Room of the library.
