Fred Beans Subaru of Doylestown recently wrapped a Subaru Loves to Help donation drive in partnership with Operation Warm.

At the end of February, the dealership donated new shoes and socks worth hundreds of dollars to local nonprofit Fostering Hope Bucks. The items will be distributed to foster families.

The Fred Beans Subaru team collected donations from mid-January through the end of February. Subaru corporate provided marketing materials and funds to support the drive as part the company wide initiative and partnership with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit that manufactures brand-new, high-quality coats and shoes for children in need.

“Our Fred Beans Subaru team embraces the Subaru brand’s HEART Pillars model – Honesty, Empathy, Appreciation, Respect and Trust through the many ways they go above and beyond to take care of customers, including charitable efforts like this one,” said Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive Group.

The donation drive was a team effort with contributions from Subaru, Operation Warm, Fred Beans team members and customers to benefit families served by Fostering Hope Bucks.

Fostering Hope holds a special place in the heart of Fred Beans Subaru General Manager Danny Pavone. He and his wife, Samantha, are currently fostering a child, who they have welcomed into their family with their daughter and two sons.
