Founders of Pine2Pink will sacrifice their house on Mischief Night

Posted

On Oct. 30, mischief night, the founders of Pine2Pink are allowing their house to be toilet papered as a fun way to raise money for local breast cancer patients.

The requirements are simple (BYOTP); participants must bring their own roll (or rolls) of toilet paper and donate $5 to Pine2Pink per roll. The nonprofit will accept, cash, credit, or checks at the event. No part of their property is off limits, and the mayhem will commence at 5 p.m. and last until 8:30 p.m.

To set the vibe for these sanctioned mischievous activities the Fenimores have invited the Doylestown School of Rock to perform in their driveway and Evolution Candy will be on the premise to provide a sugar rush. The house is located at 71 Oak Drive, Doylestown, (cross street is Turk Road).

“This is a great idea. Creating a fundraiser to give kids some Halloween fun is absolutely genius. It gives people something they can enjoy firsthand, and it’s for a good cause,” said Lily S., a 13- year-old Doylestown resident.

“When you run a nonprofit, part of the mix-to-success is being able to grab people’s attention and inspire them to get involved,” said Keith Fenimore the founder of Pine2Pink. “I want to unearth a younger demographic of donor and in this case, I am willing to sacrifice my roof and trees and infuse a little fun controlled chaos to get it done.”

Remember, this is a sanctioned event. No need to call the cops, they will already be there.

Pine2Pink runs the entire month of October with more than 20 events throughout the month. Visit the website to donate or participate: pine2pink.org. Donations can also be made via check and sent to P.O. Box 307, Doylestown, PA 18901.
