Flemington DIY, local nonprofit community arts space, and Aunt Mary’s Dispensary are partnering for a free screening of what they called 1936’s “American exploitation” film “Reefer Madness,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, as well as what the two organizations are referring to as an educational seminar.
The seminar, they say, “will touch on the ‘sensational myths’ of ‘Reefer Madness’ to the modern-day recreational and therapeutic uses of cannabis, highlighting the science behind cannabinoids and the vibrant world of terpenes.” The evening is 21+ due to New Jersey law surrounding cannabis-related events.
