Find the perfect gift for the nature lover in your life at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve

Posted

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is a sanctuary for over 700 of Pennsylvania’s 2,000 native plant species.

With five miles of hiking trails, programs for all ages and a local native plant nursery, the preserve is a gem of natural beauty and education. Not only is the Preserve a wonderful place to visit, but it’s also a great place to pick up holiday presents.

The Twinleaf Book & Gift Shop at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve has gift cards available for any in-person purchase.

Your favorite bookworm might appreciate using it for “Braiding Sweetgrass for Young Adults: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants” by Robin Wall Kimmerer. They could apply it towards the Native Plant Nursery’s spring reopening in 2023 or even to purchase their own Preserve membership—allowing them to enjoy free admission and a discount on educational programs.

Gift cards cannot currently be used or purchased online. At this time, they are for in-person transactions.

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve is located at 1635 River Road, New Hope. For information, visit BHWP.org. The preserve is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last admission at 4 p.m., Wednesday through Monday.

While it is open year-round, the Preserve will be closed the week of Saturday, Dec. 24 through Sunday, Jan. 1. It will reopen on Monday, Jan 2.
