Feeding Pennsylvania is responding to meet the needs of its member food
banks during the COVID-19 pandemic by participating in
#GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity and giving. #GivingTuesdayNow
will take place on May 5, 2020 – in addition to the regularly scheduled
Dec 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – as an emergency response to the
unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. The day is designed to drive an
influx of generosity, citizen engagement, business and philanthropy
activation, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world.
During this 24-hour campaign, the goal is to raise awareness and to
provide member food banks funds for the COVID-19 Crisis Response – a
program that helps food banks directly serve those affected by the
