Posted

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, a sanctuary for over 700 of Pennsylvania’s native plant species, opens to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 14.

With five miles of hiking trails, and programs for all ages and a local native plant nursery, the preserve offers natural beauty and education, at 1635 River Road, New Hope.

Join the preserve for a day devoted to children with activities running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All children 14 and under will be admitted free all day: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last entry permitted at 4 p.m.

“The Preserve at Play” is an opportunity to explore the preserves trails, play various games and experiment with woodland crafts, and to enjoy light refreshments along the way.

Pre-registration is not required, but you can purchase your day tickets ahead of time on their website: BHWP.org.

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve will be open daily, April to June.
