Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet returns to Newtown Theatre

Posted

The historic Newtown Theatre will welcome the Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet at 8 p.m. Friday, June 23, for “Brubeck, Guaraldi, Mintel & More.”

The quartet has been playing its “electrifying brand of jazz” for nearly 30 years, primarily in the Philadelphia region but also at the Kennedy Center on several occasions and for some notable jazz fans, including two U.S. presidents. The quartet is comprised of pianist and composer Eric Mintel, saxophonist Nelson Hill, bassist Jack Hegyi, and drummer Dave Mohn.

Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com for $30 per person or $25 for theater members. Any remaining tickets will be sold for $40 at the door on the night of the show (if available). All seating is general admission.

Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase at the theater before and during the show. The theater is located at 120 N. State St. in Newtown Borough.
