Doug A. Hilliard passed away at home, in Midlothian, Va., on March 5, 2022. He was 76.
Born in Sharon, Pa., Doug was a native of New Hope, Pa. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Eleanor Hilliard. Doug is survived by his wife Lynda. They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in April. He is also survived by his son Scott (Jennifer) Hilliard, daughter Jenn Hilliard and three adored grandchildren Justin Jasper, Heidi and Anna Grossnickle (Hilliard). Doug leaves behind his sister Patricia (Ron) Stouffer, nephew Matt Stouffer, nieces Becky (Ryan)Lowry, and Laura (Gerardo) Cardona and Lili and Miles Cardona.
Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting and running his trains. Watching Justin play football and basketball, Heidi play volleyball and Anna play the violin brought him such joy. Doug was loved and will be missed.
