No. 2 Faith Christian (10-10) fell to No. 1 Dock Mennonite 9-3 last Thursday at Souderton in the District One Class A softball final.
This was a rematch of last year’s game, which Dock also won. Faith claimed the 2022 district crown.
Dock’s Addison Landis hit a solo home run in the third to break a 3-3 tie and give the Pioneers the lead for good.
For Faith, Lexi Reed was 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Sammy Snyder went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Cheyenne Greene also had a two hit game.
The Lions reached the finals with a 9-8 semifinal win over No. 3 Plumstead Christian.
