DIY expert Beth Allen is set to give home advice at “Realtors Among Us” event

ership with the Bucks County Association of Realtors, will host a reception for the Realtors being recognized in a new publication: Realtors Among Us—Advocates, Neighbors and Champions, which will be distributed with the Nov. 15 edition.

The event, being held at the Mercer Museum from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, will recognize 13 Realtors for their outstanding service to the community. Honorees will have been selected through a process that sought nominations from the general public.

Beth Allen, a do-it-yourself expert, television personality, author and founder of HIP Chicks will be a special guest. Allen appears regularly on local and national television, including the popular Rachael Ray Show.

“The Realtors in our county do so much for those who are vulnerable, including children, the hungry and the homeless. In many ways these champions, advocates and neighbors are unsung heroes, and we look forward to giving them this much-deserved recognition,” said Bucks County Herald Publisher Joe Wingert.

Allen is a funny, sassy, and tenacious chick on a mission to empower women (and men, too) to be Smart, Capable and Confident homeowners. She is a designer, and licensed contractor. This married mother of three teenage boys and former registered nurse has been featured on the Rachael Ray Show, Philadelphia TV programs and the Philly Home Show. Her YouTube Channel has over 1.7 million views and she has produced a pilot for her own DIY show for women.
