Posted

Delaware Valley Food Pantry’s board of directors recently honored Sherry Krakos who retired as treasurer after 21 years.
Krakos was presented with a plaque recognizing her years of service along with other gifts.
The board also recently held an election for officers. Bert Johnson completed his three-year term as president and director of the board and he nominated C.J. Lonoff for that position (president and director of the board) and she was elected unanimously.

Other officers elected were David Jacobs as treasurer and Oscar Huettner as secretary. These newly elected officers joined current board members Cheryl Serdaru, Bert Johnson and C.J. Lonoff
Since the flood in September the DVFP had been operating at the Centenary Methodist Church on the corner of Union and Elm Street while the contractors repaired electrical and gas systems. With all repairs completed, DVFP resumed operation at its location at 1 Cherry Lane in the CVS shopping center in Lambertville, N.J., on Feb. 16.
DVFP board members thank Centenary United Methodist Church for allowing it to operate in the church hall for the past five months. DVFP also thanks donors and volunteers whose support allowed it to continue to serve the community during these challenging times caused by the pandemic and Hurricane Ida.
