Cross Pollination Gallery shows contemporary photographer C.a. Shofed

Posted

Cross Pollination art gallery, 3 N Union St., Lambertville, N.J., hosts “Impact to Water,” a show by Trenton-based contemporary artist C.a. Shofed.

Shofed uses the camera as a paintbrush, in an attempt to capture and show how he views the world. He sees the world as an abstract landscape, in black and white, more often in Technicolor.

His work is on display in various galleries in the area as well as Bargehouse Gallery in London, The Glasgow Gallery of Photography, and The Propeller Art Gallery in Toronto.

The public is invited to join the opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, to meet the artist and enjoy refreshments and live music by the Darla Rich duo. An Artist Talk is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. The show will be on display until Nov. 6. Visit online for information.
