Covered Bridge Artisans plan Spring Studio Tour

Posted

The Covered Bridge Artisans host a new Spring Studio Tour with eight open studios within five miles of Stockton, N.J., and an additional 15 artists exhibiting at the Sergeantsville Firehouse Event Center.
The Covered Bridge Artisans Spring Studio Tour will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 30 and May 1.
The artisans’ annual Thanksgiving tour is a beloved tradition, and this new event will occur right before Mother’s Day and during the spring season.
Work being shown will include paintings, ceramics, sculpture, fused and stained glass, jewelry, basketry, quilts, pottery, wood-turned vessels, woven scarves, book binding and blown glass.

This year, the Covered Bridge Artisans are joining with the 5th annual “The Hunterdon Art Tour.” Known as THAT, the tour including artists throughout the county. An exhibit during the weekend at the Hunterdon Art Museum will have a representation of each artist exhibiting during the tour.
Patrons can use the self-guided touring maps to explore the southern part of the county, where the Covered Bridge Artisans tour is held, but also find new artists on The Hunterdon Art Tour maps.
