Countryside Gallery’s exhibition, “Light After the Storm,” features Matiko Mamaladze.

Mamaladze is an internationally recognized and award-winning artist whose paintings are in collections in both Europe and the U.S. She lives and creates in Media.
In describing her process, she said, “I start painting right onto the canvas, without any preliminary sketching, letting the brush or a palette knife take me places. It’s spontaneous, fresh and surprising, just like life itself. You can;t plan it – it’s all unpredictable.”
