The Council Rock School District is holding two public information sessions on a recently-approved property tax and rental rebate program available to certain district residents.
The sessions are 7 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Village Library of Wrightstown, 727 Penns Park Road, Newtown, and 3 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Northampton Township Senior Center, 165 Township Road, Richboro. Representatives from the Council Rock business offices will be there to provide information and answer questions.
The rebate program to be administered by the district is available to taxpayers who meet specific criteria and is based on the Pennsylvania Property Tax Rebate program.
Residents can learn more about the program by visiting the district website, crsd.org., or by calling the business office at 215-944-1040. The criteria, frequently asked questions and application form are available for download on the website or can be picked up or in the lobby of the district’s administration building at 30 N. Chancellor St. in Newtown Borough.
