The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that core borings will occur next week on Route 309 (West End Boulevard) in Richland Township.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction: Tuesday, Feb. 6, through Friday, Feb. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a lane closure is scheduled on northbound and southbound Route 309 (West End Boulevard) between Rich Hill Road and Independence Place.
Motorists should use caution and be prepared for slow or stopped traffic approaching the area. The schedule is weather dependent.
