Cordus Mundi is looking for a few good men

Posted

As it begins its 17th season, Bucks County-based male a cappella group Cordus Mundi is looking to add new singers to the group and is holding auditions for qualified tenors, baritones, and basses.

Cordus Mundi candidates are expected to have good reading and learning skills, be willing and able to sing a wide variety of music and musical styles, and be interested in making a genuine contribution to the group’s development.

Cordus Mundi performs three major concerts and additional engagements throughout the concert season. The group rehearses on Monday evenings in Solebury, and rehearsals for the 2022-2023 season begin Sept. 12.

A Cordus audition, to be held with the group’s artistic and music directors, includes vocalizing, sight-reading, and some limited group singing. Additionally, candidates are welcome, but not required, to bring and sing a piece of their choosing to the audition.

For information, or to make an audition appointment, contact Cordus Mundi at cordusmundi.com, or at 650-219-2748.
