Community Center hosts painting classes with artist Christine McHugh

Explore the art of painting using water mixable oils, offering all the wonderful qualities of traditional oils without the use of harsh solvents or chemicals.

Spring classes for Beginner to Intermediate Oil Painting, a six-week course on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon at the Haycock Community Center, 1014 Old Bethlehem Road, Quakertown, begin April 29 and runs through June 3.

Join Bucks County artist Christine McHugh and cover the basics of using the artists tools, and move along to color mixing, values, composition, light and shadow as you paint the subject of your choice.

Whether you are beginning or expanding your journey as an artist, this class is designed to help bring you the knowledge and confidence you need to enjoy the art of creating your own unique paintings.

A material list will be provided upon request.

The cost is $180, payable to McHugh via Venmo/Zell/ PayPal/Check/Cash. Pre registration is required through April 26.
