Bucks County Commissioner Chairman Rob Loughery has announced that he will seek another term on the board of commissioners.
“We enjoy a remarkable quality of life in Bucks County. However, Bucks County is not immune from these very challenging times. The demand on the critical services county government provides has grown in nearly every aspect of our work.”
Loughery said that during two terms in office he has worked to come up with bipartisan solutions to the issues facing the community. He named the opioid crisis, overcrowding in jails, mental health issues, infrastructure challenges, and lack of affordable housing.
He also named as issues to be solved, the need for businesses to find a skilled workforce, preserving our farms and protecting natural areas and maintaining the county’s solid financial standing.
