The Mercer Museum’s major annual fundraiser, Cocktails at the Castle, returns to Doylestown at one of the area’s historic landmarks from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12.

This evening in this one-of-a-kind castle built by Henry Mercer in 1916 is known for its focus on culinary delights and features crafted cocktails and offerings from many of the area’s most well-known restaurants, caterers and bakeries, all in support of the Mercer Museum’s year-round exhibitions, youth education programs and community initiatives.

“Cocktails at the Castle is such a unique way to taste the finest in locally-prepared, high-end cuisine and sample cocktails handcrafted by some of the most cutting-edge bartenders around,” said Mercer Museum President and Executive Director Kyle McKoy.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste appetizers, soups, salads and entrees from award-winning establishments including Altomonte’s Italian Market (Doylestown), Blu Mediterranean Grill (Doylestown), Chambers 19 (Doylestown), Corporate Source Catering (Horsham), Earl’s New American (Lahaska), Empanada Mama and Nourish By Mama (Doylestown), Jeffrey A.
