Financial services company C&N has donated $10,000 to the Bucks County Opportunity Council through the Neighborhood Assistance Program.
For over 55 years, the Bucks County Opportunity Council has served low-income families in Bucks County by helping them to stabilize when in crisis, garner resources to achieve a livable wage, gain additional education and training, and work toward economic self-sufficiency.
C&N’s donation will support the Opportunity Council’s Economic Self Sufficiency Program. The funds will be used to pay for a bilingual Economic Self-Sufficiency coach who has been hired to work with 25 new families in the Warminster area. BCOC expects the 25 participant families will make progress toward self-sufficiency that will be demonstrated by increased income, improved skills and a more balanced budget.
