Christ’s Home hosts A Salute to Vets

Christ’s Home, 800 York Road, Warminster, hosts a Veterans Day event with Captain David A. Christian, the youngest, most decorated officer of the Vietnam War and a lifelong resident of Bucks County.

A Salute to Our Veterans, will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. It is free and open to the community.

During his combat career, Captain Christian discovered over 52 enemy base camps, captured valuable documents, supplies and POWs and routed enemy insurgents. He was medically retired after being seriously injured in combat.

Christian is known throughout the country as the “Youngest – Most Decorated Officer of the Vietnam War.” He was nominated for every valor award of the U.S. military, including the Medal of Honor and seven Purple Hearts.

He is the author of the first Agent Orange legislation and the legislation on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the “Law of the Land for Military and Veterans.”

Christian served as a presidential appointee under four U.S. presidents and as a senior advisor to the U.S. Senate on Foreign Relations. He owns and operates multiple domestic and international factories and firms, supporting the Department of Defense.
