Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem, Couture of Trees combo ticket offered

Posted

Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites [HBMS] and ArtsQuest have partnered to offer the “Christmas City Combo Ticket.”

The ticket provides admission to Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem and Historic Bethlehem’s “Couture Trees of Historic Bethlehem” exhibit across four historic buildings.

The Combo Ticket, which offers admission to all participating attractions, is $27, a nearly 20 percent savings versus purchasing all admission tickets individually. The ticket, which is on sale now, is valid at Christkindlmarkt through Dec. 22 and HBMS attractions through Jan. 12.

Now in its 27th year, Christkindlmarkt runs Nov. 22 to 24; Nov. 29 to Dec. 1; and Dec. 5 to 8, 12 to 15 and 19-22 at PNC Plaza at SteelStacks.

The festive, family-friendly event features more than 125 artisans offering handmade works, as well as ice carving and glass blowing demonstrations, live holiday music and jolly, old St. Nicholas.

Well-known German ornament designer Käthe Wohlfarht returns with more than 2,000 nutcrackers, collectibles and handmade ornaments. New Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem attractions include an Outdoor Village and pet photo sessions with Saint Nicholas.

Visitors can take the Christmas City Trolley between Christkindlmarkt and historic downtown Bethlehem as they shop the market and discover Christmas trees inspired by fashion in the 6th annual “Couture Trees of Historic Bethlehem” exhibition open Nov. 22 to Jan. 12.

More than 20 Christmas trees decorated by the Bethlehem Garden Club are displayed in four HBMS historic sites, featuring decorations inspired by famous fashion designers with corresponding purses, clutches and handbags from “PURSEonality: A Stylish Handbag History.”
