Cecelia Marie Kukuchka (Gross), age 68, passed away at home on March 21 following a recurrence of cancer.

Loving wife, mother, sister and friend, she is survived by her husband Mark, children Melissa (and son-in-law Greg), Owen, stepson Robert, and grandchildren Milo and Stella; as well as sisters and brothers-in-law: Luray Gross and Paul Koehler, Christine and David Crooke, Amy and Lenard Kresge, and Annette and Daniel Crooke, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

The daughter of Rachel and Raymond Gross, Cecelia grew up on a busy dairy farm in Plumstead Township where she developed a fondness for animals, nature, family gatherings, and good-hearted mischief. A graduate of Central Bucks West and Kutztown University, Ceil worked for the Bucks County Bank, the Central Bucks School District, and as a caring and compassionate home-care assistant. In each capacity she was known for her wry wit and her generous spirit. Her passing is a great loss to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at Lenape Valley Church, 321 W. Butler Ave., New Britain, Pa., at 11 a.m. on April 1 following an opportunity to greet her family at 10 a.m. at the church. There will be a private interment at Beulah Cemetery arranged by Reed and Steinbach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Peaceful Living (peacefulliving.org).
