Candlelight vigil slated for domestic violence victims

Posted

This Saturday marks the first activity for October kicking off National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Each year, October provides an opportunity to remember victims of domestic violence, raise awareness of what domestic violence is, how to recognize it, and what we can all do to collectively prevent it.

One activity takes place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the James Lorah Home, 132 N. Main St., Doylestown – the annual Candlelight Vigil with Bucks Country District Attorney Matthew Weintraub, remembering victims lost to domestic violence.
