Bucks DA identifies at-large suspect in Falls shootings

Posted

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office Saturday afternoon identified the suspect in the mid-morning shootings in Falls Township as Andre Gordon,  26.

A statement posted on the District Attorney's Office Crimewatch page suggested that Gordon knew the victims of the shootings, which took place at Edgewood Lane and Viewpoint Lane in Falls Township shortly before 10 a.m.

Following the shootings, officials said Gordon carjacked an individual at the Dollar General store on Old Bristol Pike and fled in a silver or dark gray Honda CRV with a "Namaste" sticker on the passenger side rear section of the vehicle.

Gordon, authorities said, is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Falls and neighboring communities were advised to shelter in place. Middletown Township officials report they directed the Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place to close. Target and Insire Credit Union were among a number of local businesses that decided to close until further notice.

Falls Township Police Department lifted the shelter-in-place advisory shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday
