PA Department of Health provides update on COVID-19 – 631 positives bring statewide total to 103,396
The Pennsylvania Department of Health today confirmed as of noon, July 22, that there are 631 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 103,396. All 67 counties in Pennsylvania have cases of COVID-19. There are 7,063 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 25 new deaths reported.

- Chester County: 4,414 cases and 337 deaths
- Delaware County: 8,008 cases and 675 deaths
- Lehigh County: 4,600 cases and 334 deaths
- Montgomery County: 9,282 cases and 839 deaths
- Northampton County: 3,669 cases and 288 deaths
- Philadelphia: 24,092 cases and 1,662 deaths
The number of tests administered within the last 7 days between July 15 and July 21 is 148,209 with 6,094 positive cases. There were 21,776 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., July 21. These results represent the total number of tests administered.

There are 637 patients who have a positive serology test and either COVID-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure, which are considered probable cases and not confirmed cases. There are 968,081 patients who have tested negative to date.
New Jersey cases total 177,256
The New Jersey Department of Health announced that as of July 22 there are 177,256 cases of COVID-19 and 13,763 deaths plus 1,974 probable deaths. There are 7,858 Mercer County residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 and 565 people have died. In Mercer County, there are 10 new cases and also 43 probable deaths from COVID-19. Hunterdon County reports 1,101 cases and 70 confirmed deaths plus 56 probable deaths from COVID-19. There is 1 new case in Hunterdon County. In New Jersey, 1,817,955 persons have been tested and the rate of transmission is 0.9.
