The application process has begun for those interested in securing this year’s Thomas E. Mellon Jr. Scholarship or William Penn Scholarship, offered by the Bucks County Bar Foundation.
The Thomas E. Mellon Jr. Scholarship Fund provides a scholarship to any candidate attending a four-year liberal arts education program who has shown extraordinary commitment to public service and/or community service.
The William Penn Scholarship Fund provides provide financial assistance for the post-high school education of students interested in pursuing a career in law or a law-related field who have also shown commitment to public service or community service.
Eligibility requirements include a record of academic excellence and a strong commitment to public service.
