Bucks Audubon barn tour and art show returns

Enjoy a day in the country with historic barns, local artists, and a chance to support the education programs of Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow when Bucks Audubon hosts it 20th annual Art of the Barn Tour, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5 and 6.

Private barns of will be open to the public for tours for the two-day event, and each barn will feature local artists who have been inspired by the nature, history and landscapes of Bucks County. Celebrate Bucks County’s unique agricultural heritage, arts and architecture.

Join Bucks County Audubon Society at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4, as it kicks off the tour with a special Pre-Tour Lecture and Reception, held at its Visitor Center, 2877 Creamery Road, Solebury. Learn about the beauty and history of barns with speaker April Frantz of the PA State Historic Preservation Office.

Tickets to the two-day event are $25/Bucks Audubon members, $30/nonmembers and will increase to $35 on the Monday before the tour (Sept. 30). Group discounts are available. Call 215-297-5880 for details.
