Bucks artist featured in three winter exhibitions

Newtown artist Alex Cohen’s works are being shown in three exhibitions: at Sykes Gallery at Millersville University, Millersville; Walton Center at George School, Newtown; and Zeuxis at THERE, New York, N.Y.

The show at Millersville’s Sykes Gallery runs through Feb. 23. There will be a reception from 5 to 6:30 p.m., with an artist talk beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9. Gallery Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exhibition also may be viewed online.

A solo exhibition of paintings and collages by Cohen are on view through Feb. 12, at George School’s gallery at Walton Center. It is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

“Paperscapes,” A Zeuxis group exhibition at THERE is on display by appointment through March 4. It features the work of Jan Baltzell, Temma Bell, Alex Cohen, Abigail Dudley, Holly Dudley, Kayla Edmonston, Eric Elliott, Phyllis Floyd; John Goodrich; Barbara Grossman; Elizabeth Higgins; Clara Kewley; Ken Kewley; Andrew Marcus; Nancy McCarthy; John Mitchell; Henry Murphy; Stephanie Pierce; and Nicole M. Santiago.
