The Central Bucks West boys volleyball team opened the District One Class 3A tournament against William Tennent in Warminster Tuesday night.
The 10th-seeded Bucks fell to the seventh-seeded Panthers 3-1 (26-24, 20-25, 25-22 and 25-17) to finish their season at 8-13.
Class 3A’s top seed, Council Rock North, earned a first-round bye and will host No. 9 Abington in the quarterfinals Thursday. Also earning a first-round bye, Pennridge, the fourth seed, hosts No. 5 Unionville in quarterfinal action Thursday.
