Boy Scout Troop 64 celebrates Scout Sunday at Carversville U.C.C.

Posted

Boy Scout Troop 64, which “has the privilege” of being housed by the United Church of Christ in Carversville, celebrated Scout Sunday on Feb. 9, with its church partners.

Families from the Scout troop joined the members of the church for a service in which Scouts assisted the Rev. Bob Fogal, pastor, with several readings that complemented his message surrounding generosity.

During the service, Ted Nichols was surprised at being recognized by Tom Repas and the church for his decades of service to Troop 64.

This year, the troop will celebrate 75 years, which would not have been possible without the support of the church.

Troop 64 is eternally grateful to both Carversville United Church of Christ for its support and to Ted Nichols for his unwavering dedication to the legacy of Troop 64.
