Bell’s showcases “Spatial Imaginings”

Posted

“Spatial Imaginings” by Larry Mitnick will be on view until the end of August, at Bell’s Tavern, 183 N. Union St., Lambertville, N.J.

Floating, geometrically precise colorful shapes are companion travelers in the exhibited paintings. Space is more than an immense vacuum, but the medium through which elements of form, color and visual movement inhabit Mitnick’s work in a friendly conversation.

Color plays a major role defining spacial conditions. Chromatic progressions locate objects/shapes in varying spacial locations, interacting with each other and background color.

Mitnick is a member artist at Artists’ Gallery, 18 Bridge St., Lambertville. Enjoy the art while dining at Bell’s Tavern, which is open 5 to 9 p.m. Call 609-397-2226 for reservations.
