Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County issues call to artists

Posted

Submissions are wanted for the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County Member Show 2024, taking place in June at Freeman Hall.

Formerly known as the R.E.D. Show, this name change underscores the council’s commitment to showcasing the boundless creativity of its members, free from thematic constraints, it said via email.

Submissions may be made May 14 to 28 via Entry Thingy for the in person and online exhibitions.

Artists are invited and encouraged to exhibit new artworks or pieces that have not been exhibited previously. Representational and non-representational work in all mediums is welcome.

Submissions from new, emerging and established artists are welcomed. Submissions from historically underrepresented voices in arts communities are encouraged, and the full expression of all identities is celebrated.

Participants must be members of the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County to participate; there is an entry fee. Artists may join at the time of entry.

This year’s juror is Lisa Tremper Hanover, former director and CEO of the Michener Art Museum. The People’s Choice prize will be awarded on the closing day of the show.
