Posted

Alan Fetterman celebrates his 50th solo show, and all are invited and welcome to attend.

Fetterman’s 50th solo show and new body of work is titled “L – Land, Life, Light,” and includes 50 paintings created in and about Bucks County with the brightness of gratitude for living within.

Various sizes and dynamics of paintings will appeal to a wide range of viewers. They include large 4-by-5-foot paintings to small 5-by-7-inch pieces, and many sizes in between.

Painted mostly on Belgian linen, and occasionally on board, all paintings will be hung throughout the mansion house walls framed in custom handmade frames. Creating an archival high-quality painting in a beautiful frame has been the artist’s approach for decades.

Fetterman is a highly recognized American artist whose work can be found in major collections and prominent public locations all throughout the region. He has created just over 1,000 paintings in the last 30 years and his work is synonymous with Bucks County’s long-lasting tradition of being a Mecca for Fine Art and creative living.

He is Bucks County’s first artist-in-Residence and a Kay Scholar with a degree in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania. Bucks County has been his home for over 60 years. His vibrant and powerful painterly qualities and ability to create art that gives the viewer a sense of brightness and joy reveals the reason he is one of the regions most recognized and collected.
