Vasiliki Katsarou is a poet and filmmaker whose Haiku-length disappearing poems are dispensed from 10 gumball machines installed in the exhibition. Printed on water-soluble paper, the poems may be treasured and retained or dropped in a water-filled receptacle to disappear.

ArtYard in Frenchtown, N.J., opened its first exhibition of the new year, “Invisible,” on Jan. 15.
Curated by Jill Kearney, “Invisible” explores what the author Svetlana Alexievich calls “the missing history – the invisible imprint of our stay on Earth and in time.”

Featured artists are: Monica Banks, Willie Cole, Phebe Macrae Corcoran, Vasiliki Katsarou, sTo Len, Kaitlin Pomerantz, Kelly Popoff, Sandra Ramos, Gabrielle Senza, Pavel Urkiza, Kawita Vatanajyankur, and Natalija Vujošević.
The exhibition is on view through April 10.
