Angeline C. Worthington of Doylestown passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Doylestown Hospital on April 7, 2023 at the age of 85.
Angie graduated from Central Bucks High School. After high school she worked for Bell Telephone as a supervisor. She devoted many years volunteering with Meals on Wheels and knitting hats for the homeless.
She was a longtime member of Salem United Church of Christ, Doylestown. Her faith and family were most important to her. She took great joy in making her house a home for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ray Worthington, her daughters: Linda Thomson, her husband, Patrick, of Pipersville and Kathy Johnston, her husband, Wayne, of Doylestown, as well as her two granddaughters: Kristina and Cindy.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m until the time of the service. Interment will follow the service in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham.
