American Heritage Credit Union donates over $60K to Grand View Health

Posted

For newborns and their moms, the first few hours and days together mean everything. Now, thanks to the generosity of American Heritage Credit Union, caregivers at Grand View Health can help mothers and babies form deeper connections from Day One. The credit union has donated more than $60,000 over the past two years to the Maternity Department and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Grand View Hospital. Those funds have allowed the hospital to purchase: New Nära bassinets by Stryker: With an adjustable height, these bassinets promote closeness by allowing skin-to-skin contact between newborns and their mothers at the bedside. New Nicview cameras: These cameras give parents a 24/7, secure view of their baby in the NICU for times when they can not be present with their baby. These cameras are made possible through donations by American Heritage Credit Union and the Lily’s Hope Foundation. “So much has changed since my wife and I were new parents,” said Bruce Foulke, president and CEO of American Heritage Credit Union. “Being able to support young families with this innovative technology and equipment to make their experience as comfortable, convenient and safe as possible is gratifying both personally and professionally.”
