Alice M. Myers, of Lambertville, NJ, died on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Morristown Post Acute Care Center in Morristown, NJ. She was 80 years old.
Born in Lambertville, Alice was a lifelong resident. She worked as a leather craftsperson for the York Luggage in New Hope and later in West Amwell. Alice was active in her community. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Columbia Fire Company in Lambertville. With the Lambertville Senior Citizens she enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City. Alice enjoyed reading. She was a member of the Lambertville Baptist Church and a graduate of Lambertville High School.
Alice was dedicated to her family. She was the wife of the late Lester E. Myers, Sr., the daughter of the late George and Lois Housel Slack, the sister of the late Gladys Yasunas and Samuel Slack, and the sister-in-law of the late Larry Burroughs. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Lester E Myers, Jr. and Michele Myers; her sister Mary Burroughs and her brother and his wife George Slack, Jr. and Lois Slack, all of Lambertville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11 am at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530 (vhmfh.com). Interment will follow at the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Township.
