Acting Naturally presents musical adaptation of Dickens classic

“Ebenezer the Musical,” an adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” with music and lyrics by Malcolm Sircom, opens at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Acting Naturally’s theater in the Shoppes at Flowers Mill, Langhorne.

As Ebenezer Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas, he is visited by his old business partner, Marley, who warns him of the three ghosts to visit. In Acting Naturally’s production, Rap and Rock and Roll ghosts guide Ebenezer on his path to the true meaning of Christmas.

Wendy Force, the artistic founding director at Acting Naturally, directs the all-star cast. Richard Pine of Yardley plays Ebenezer, Ann D’Silva of Newtown plays Marley, Sally Donovan of New Hope plays Ghost of Christmas Past, Spectre is played by Marci Lumer of Huntingdon Valley and Lia Shubin of Langhorne plays the Ghost of Christmas present.
