7th Annual Revolutionary Pub Crawl offers historical entertainment

Posted

Winter Festival has been canceled, but the 7th Revolutionary Pub Crawl is on.
Crawlers, led by fife and drum, will depart from the Lambertville Station, 10 Bridge St., Lambertville, N.J., at 11:50 a.m. Jan. 22 and visit four pubs for a historical presentation, light fare, and a drink at each, followed by an after party with live music.
Presented by Mountaintop Marketing & Events, the Revolutionary Pub Crawl offers the opportunity to meet, eat and drink with re-enactors who have made it their passion to become informed about the American Revolution and its rich history in The Delaware River Towns. Each location will feature a historical presentation from a different re-enactor.

At the Great Barn Taproom crawlers will hear from John Glover head of the Marblehead men. Havana will feature General George Washington. Rivertown Naturals crawlers will hear from Martha Washington, and the Logan Inn crawlers will experience Ben Franklin.
Learn about the individual contributions of many, such as Benjamin Franklin, George Washington or the many women who were left out of the history books.Costumes, or at least the wearing of tri-corner hats, are encouraged. Costume wearers will be in the front of the lineup, get their drinks and food first and better seating choices.
